Every column after the wage is take-home pay. Each row assumes 40 hours a week all year, one paycheck every two weeks, single, no dependents, and no benefits taken out. The monthly and yearly columns are that paycheck times 26. Use the paycheck calculator for your own hours and deductions.
What comes out of an hourly paycheck
At $25 an hour, a two-week paycheck in Oklahoma starts at $2,000.00 and ends at $1,621.85.
| Federal income tax | $156.15 |
| Social Security | $124.00 |
| Medicare | $29.00 |
| Oklahoma income tax | $69.00 |
Oklahoma taxes wages at rates up to 4.5 percent for 2026, and employers withhold after a $1,000 allowance a year for each allowance the worker claims. In Oklahoma the state tax is the only state line: no disability or leave program applies, no city or county taxes wages, and federal income tax, Social Security, and Medicare are withheld as usual.
The allowance is small, so the Oklahoma line grows steadily with pay rather than starting from a large untaxed base.
What changes your number
Allowances drive the Oklahoma line. Form OK-W-4 gives one for yourself, one for a spouse who does not work, and one for each dependent, and each excuses $1,000 of pay a year from state withholding. A larger household therefore takes home slightly more at the same wage.
The rate tops out at 4.5 percent, so the state side never takes a large bite at hourly wages. What changes the check most is the number of allowances and the hours worked, and both are easy to test in the paycheck calculator.
Hours matter too. At $20 an hour and 30 hours a week instead of 40, a two-week paycheck in Oklahoma comes to $1,015.05.
The minimum wage in Oklahoma
The minimum wage in Oklahoma is $7.25 an hour, and a full-time worker at $7.25 takes home about $1,150 a month. The law sets the current federal rate. It applies to employers with ten or more full-time employees at one location or annual gross sales over $100,000, while other employers owe $2.00.

Disability: Oklahoma runs no state disability or paid-family-leave program paid by an employee payroll deduction: Packet OW-2 for 2026 (saved as data/sources/oklahoma/WHTables-2026.pdf, read Oct 29, 2026) covers state income tax as the only state withholding on wages; no Oklahoma law or agency page describing such a program was found.
Local taxes: The Oklahoma Tax Commission's Packet OW-2 for 2026 and Form OK-W-4 (saved in data/sources/oklahoma/, read Oct 29, 2026) describe state income tax withholding only, with no city or county wage tax and no local line on the OK-W-4. No official Oklahoma page saying "no local income tax" in those words was found (see openQuestions).
